CASE STUDY
FortiShare - Next-Gen Secure File-Sharing Solution
I joined forces with an elite cyber-security start-up to design FortiShare, a secure file-sharing platform. Conventional methods of sharing sensitive data, such as email or consumer file-sharing services, were vulnerable to cybercriminals and unauthorized users. I interviewed the company's clients, analyzed their current file-sharing procedures, researched industry standards, and reviewed secure file-sharing solutions to understand the problem and create an appropriate solution.
Equipped with valuable insights, I designed FortiShare, a secure file-sharing platform with end-to-end encryption, two-factor authentication, geo-location locks, and other features ensuring sensitive data was safeguarded. The application underwent successful testing and launched, offering a crucial layer of protection for the company's data.
The successful implementation of FortiShare showcased how businesses can leverage innovative technology to protect their sensitive data. My work had real-world implications, leading to enhanced security for businesses and peace of mind for their customers.
